Berlin
Right after Christmas we went to Berlin to have some real vacation time and to not celebrate New Years eve in a nice setting with some friends.
We visit Berlin 1-2 times a year (it is cheaper to fly there than to go by train to visit our parents!) and it feels almost like a second home. The kind of place where it is really hard to force yourself to try something new, because you have a long list of places (read restaurants, bars and cafés) you know you want to visit and where you can just be without thinking too much.

(I cheated myself this time around and didn't go for the amazing espresso chocolate cheesecake at Barcomi's as i usually do)
