Moomin

We went a little out of our way to visit Moomin Bakery and Cafe in Tokyo; a not particular cozy but pretty interseting moomin-themed cafe where you can enjoy a meal together with a stuffed moomin character! We stuck to iced latte and chocolate milk, of course with moomin decorations and a waiter came up and seated a hattifnat at our table :)

For us the main event was the moomin shop between the bakery and the cafe - that is where I got the coffee drip I have already shown you and the other day Elinor and I made moomin-blueberyr-muffins in the silicone moomin-cake-pan :)

▶ Emma: hmm, I kind of like that my tattoos are mostly something people see a part of me more than something by themselves, but they will probably show up in some photos all by themselves. I don't have a story to share about them, so I don't think they will get their own post :)

I haven't been to the one in Tokyo, bookmarking this for the trip next year. I went to the one in Fukuoka and like you I thought the shop was the main event over the bakery and cafe! :)

Oh my god, a Moomin cafe! What is life. What is air! Definitely going there next time I go to Tokyo. Was the food any good?
