At the graveyard

I still have a lot of Tokyo photos to show you but I think it is time to mix it up with more current things.
Like some photos from a picnic at the graveyard.

I asked D to take a picture of me, since I am often not in any photos from our everyday life. I think I need to give D a camera and get him hooked too, so I won't be missing from our photographic memory. The other reason why I wanted a new photo of myself is the inspiring post about showing your face that Elisabeth did. Some other of my favorite bloggers blogged about the same thing.

I almost only read blogs that are 'personal' - by personal I mean, that the blog has a personal voice, that shows the bloggers own photos or illustrations or writing and that gives me a sense of the person behind. I think a lot of you feel the same way. I don't think showing your face is a must, but it helps you get a sense of the person behind the blog and who you are having a conversation with.

I have met people in real life who thought I deliberately did not show any photographs of myself. Thats not the case. I just don't have that many :)

▶ Silvia: I have somehow been putting off going to New York. I am almost sure it won't live up to my expectations :)

So nice that you're also participating in this! People thought I didn't show my face on my blog on purpose as well. But I never realized it until I read Elisabeth s & Sandra's post. And I have to say it was kinda fun to show my face! The blog feels even more personal to me now :-)

Looks like you guys had a fun day! Enjoy the weekend.

Hellooo! Nice to see you :) Yes, this has been interesting. I don’t show my face on my blog and it’s not because I don’t want to particularly, it’s just that like you, there are hardly any photos of me as I am the picture taker. I think like you, I’ll give the camera to my husband more as looking back over thousands of photos, there are hardly any of me. Not good really. Have a nice weekend!

I feel you! Sometimes I have to told my hubby to take photos of me. I want to be part of our memories in future and photos are maybe the biggest part of that. At the moment we have 3 weeks old daughter and I'm worried if we don't have mother-daughter-pictures enough.

So nice pictures and so Nice to see you! I was also reading Sandra's, Elisabeth's and Kerry's posts and thought they had a good point. I also read and love blogs based on blogger own esperience where the pictures are taken by blogger themselves. In these kind of blogs one blogs a lot about personal life, the things he-she likes, people loved so one gets to know the persons behind the blog in a special way . That is why I like to see them in pictures sometimes, the story would not be compleet somehow without the blogger appearance.. I am not often in pictures in my blog, but if i am there it's just fragments of me (my feet, my hands etc) mostly because as many of you said I am the person behind the camera and lots of these shots are self-portraits -so to speak- but also because I don't like/recognize myself in pictures. I guess i will blog about this topic too. :-) happy weekend further.

Har du gjort tatueringen nu? Betyder den något?

skønne billeder af dig og elinor! i matcher så fint.

Hei hei!! :)

:D Hey & Hello!

and when I see you I wanna say Thank you for the Tokyo-photos! I've always wanted to go there but I more and more realize that I won't...I dont know if I will survive. Big cities and crowds is hard for me to handle (I thought that problem would disappear when getting older but..). So, Im grateful to see Tokyo with your eyes!
