We lived pretty close to Shinjuku Gyoen -a beautiful garden in the middle of the city!
We had combini-sushi (sushi from 7-11) and pretty drinkables.
We mostly stayed in the japanese garden since it was boiling hot (at least for a dane :)
-best thing to do in the heat of Tokyo - in my experience - is shopping :)
ps. the koi were very scary
▶ Everyone: yep, that moomin tape was a scoop - so was the ones with animals, which I now don't remember where I got but which was not MT
