Our first real dinner out in Tokyo was an amazing 10 course meal in a restaurant recommend to us by the amazing Hello Sandwich. It was just as strange and delicious an experience as you could have hoped for and we learned the meaning of "おいしい" (okay that is totally a google translation) from our not very english speaking cooks and waiters.
