I have one more new years resolution
..actually I have more small resolutions like sit up straight, only eat candy and chips I really really like and so on, but I have one more big resolution: To use a cookbook once a week! I am not very good at following directions and recipes when I cook - Thats why I hardly ever give out any recipes here on the blog either - But this year I would like to learn something new!
So I bought this brick of a cook book: Meyer's Almanac, which is quickly becoming a new danish cooking bible. It has at least one recipe for every day of the year and it is build around what vegetables are in season and so on.
There is an even bigger and more beautiful version than this one -but mine was on sale and it does not take up the whole table -I really like the color and photos of this book even though I really do not like the font :) Every sunday I look through the recipes for the coming week and choose at least one!

▶ Bernardo: I take that as support!
▶ Anja: So good to hear from you! I sure hope I am still running in a year, though I don't think I will ever do a marathon or even half! Good luck!
▶ Marta: Wow that sounds cool and hard! It is good to have a program, I think! Good luck!
▶ Lisen: Mine are Nike Free Run 2 - They do not have much support, but I am trying to do a sort of forfoot running where you don't land on the heel and they should be good for that. I have not run with Rufus yet - Feel like I need to get in to a good habit and feel more trained be I take him with me, but I would like to! Think he would like it too!
▶ B: Yay for looking forward to the next run
▶ Brit: Yes it is - I have put a link in the post now. -I also use the nike+ to track how far I run and so on. I like looking at the data afterwards!
▶ Kristen: thank you so much!
▶ Lien: I have only run once in rain (and hail) but actually liked it because it does not really matter that you get soaked!
▶ Corrie: It does feel good! The lamps are vintage :)
▶ Bénédicte: The poster is made by Hanna

this book looks good (the front bit at least!). must say that i get bored so quickly that i cook at least two new things per week. and have too many recipes. it's good but now i want to just figure things out on my own even more (i tend to ignore tips that sun plain silly), without any instructions. we're swapping roles i guess:)
